Who we are

We are the team behind Aurelius: Learn History, a history app for iPhone and Android. Before building it we tried most of the history apps on this site, and found that hardly any of them taught history in order or showed their sources. This site is the comparison we wanted to read: every app on the same seven criteria, every point traceable to the app's own listing.

Angelo Sorbello

Founder of Aurelius: Learn History and editor of this site. Angelo writes and checks every page; reach him on LinkedIn or X.

How we work

Facts come from each app's US App Store and Google Play listings, with the date we read them.
We do not link to rival apps, and no app pays to appear or to rank.
We make Aurelius, so it is labeled "Our app" on every page, and its limits are listed next to it.
Rules and points: how we rate. Ownership: disclosure.
