What you should know

We make Aurelius. Agape Group GmbH publishes Aurelius: Learn History and runs this site. Every mention of Aurelius carries an "Our app" label, and boxes promoting it should be read as ads.
We chose the criteria. They reward what we think makes a history app teach well: order, recall, sources, depth, a clear price, platforms and ratings. Aurelius scores well because it was built around them; it scores lowest of all on ratings, because it is new. Every rule and every point is public on how we rate, so you can recompute or reweight the scores.
No paid placements. No app pays to appear or to rank, and we have no affiliate deals.
Links. We link to Aurelius' website and store pages, sometimes with tracking tags so we know a visit came from here. We do not link to rival apps; search for them in your app store by name.
Facts, with dates. Everything about other apps comes from their own App Store and Google Play listings, read on the date shown. Prices and ratings change.
